San Antonio, Part 1

Hola todos. I had some time and high-speed internet this evening before bed, so I thought I would share my experience thus far. I arrived in San Antonio shortly after 9 PM on Thursday evening (10, your time). Needless to say, I was tired and hungry. I ordered some pizza, searched the net for a bus stop close to my hotel (I'm in the boonies near the airport), and got ready for bed. Unfortunately I did not find a bus stop, so I feared that I would have to pay an arm and a leg for a taxi...both ways. I went to bed with a bad feeling. Praying that things would be different in the morning.
I slept straight through 6 hours. After getting ready quickly, I headed down for a continental breakfast. It was great! Freshest and sweetest fruit salad I've ever had. The morning staff informed me that there actually is a bus stop nearby, and it is only 3 blocks away. The staff shuttled me there so I didn't have to walk in my heeled boots. The convention and sessions were informative and somewhat fun. In the middle of the day, I headed to the River Walk to see some sights and eat. More sessions and symposium exhibits. Then, a River Walk and good Mexican food. It's now bedtime again, and I'm ready. Hasta maƱana. Until then, check out the slide show.
