16 weeks

I had my 16 week appt. today. I was given a letter telling me that my OB/GYN is closing his practice in the middle of my pregnancy (fortunately, I already knew thanks to Sabrina). Then, I had to wait forever because they were behind. Teresa weighed me...and I gained 5 lbs. in 4 weeks! Finally :) Then I sat in a big comfy chair where I had my blood pressure checked (right on) and got to hear the baby's heartbeat again (sounds good!). Dr. Graham came in to apologize and talk about my next moves. I then scheduled my next appointment for December 29th at 9:00 AM....at which we will hopefully find out the gender!!! Josh just might get his birthday wish :)

I just realized I forgot to post this. Unfortunately, the next time we see the baby will not be until after Christmas. Josh is hoping to know the gender for his birthday.

In order of appearance: Week 13, Week 12, and Week 11. Josh and I have been slacking for weeks 14 and 15. By the way, this is not really an exact science at this point in my pregnancy. I've gained practically no weight, and I think the visible size of my belly depends upon how much I ate for supper :) However, it is growing... so that's a good sign! Next appt.: Tuesday, Nov. 18.

Well, I found a designer for MK...Michael Kors. He just happens to put his initials on certain items like Tommy Hilfiger (or HT). You'll have to think about the initials LV or LC for girl #2! Just a thought. Congrats!!!

American Idol...I knew there was a reason I stuck by you! The top 8 sang this song last night. Unfortunately Josh and I missed it, but luckily we caught it on you tube tonight. So great!

I went to New York over the weekend for a foreign language teachers' conference. We had a blast at the Marriotts (yes, plural), in the limo, on Broadway, in Times Square, etc., etc. I 52 N Y!

5-day weekend!!!

Who knew that a 2 day weekend could turn into a 3 day, then a 4 day, and finally a 5 day weekend?? Although we're losing some snow make-up days, this was worth it. I was able to get some things done around the house, babysit my niece, hang out with Josh and Gryff, and post some blog entries! I hope you enjoy them :)
It's back to work tomorrow...Happy Valentine's Day!
